HelioVolt Corporation CEO Dr. B.J. Stanbery (pictured) has announced
the appointment of two new vice presidents in preparation for the
company’s expansion plans. Ex-Applied Materials managing director of
materials Larry Peruffo is set to take up the role of VP of HelioVolt’s
supply chain, while Essilor Laboratories’ former VP of operations and
technology, David Bowen, has been named as VP of manufacturing
operations.

Mr. Peruffo’s 24-year occupation with Applied Materials saw him hold
various roles, culminating in his most recent post of managing director
of materials.  This new role with HelioVolt will see him apply the
expertise garnered from his time with Applied Materials to the
Texas-based company, developing its supply chain operations to
implement the company’s processes and technologies across its product
lines.

Mr. Bowen’s tenure as VP of operations and technology
with Essilor Laboratories of America saw him aid in the company’s
transition to large-scale production.  Prior to this role, he was
manager of global operations strategy for Black & Decker, and
brings this operations experience to HelioVolt’s product development
expansion strategy.

HelioVolt is a thin-film solar products manufacturer based in Texas.
